LED Wall Animations

Beaugrenelle is a new development in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, on the Seine, commissioned by the Apsys Group. Apart from working on the brand identity Carl worked on developing a series of very large LED displays / animations displayed in monochrome on the side of the buildings. Occupying the full height of the glass facade of the building (some 5 stories)  the soundless animations would visually whisper to the passer by what was happening in the building today, the cinema attractions and even generally comment on humorous observations about the weather and many other topics.

The animations could be updated daily and could provide a charming communication, it's voice would always be in the form of icons and small amounts of treated moving image snippets.
